Default Resource exploit

You can toggle accel/DA off, farm a mob, wait for 1 minute and turn them both back on again and resource, getting 6x resources while spending 1x rrt on the battle

Say you have 60 second kills (high area) + 1 minute wait to toggle it:

With accel/DA on:
60 seconds * 6 + 1 minute = 7 minutes rrt per fight until you start resourcing

With both off:
60 seconds + 1 minute wait = 2 minute rrt to start resourcing and get the same 6x resources and xp from the option above

This gives you near thrice more resources attempts per RRT ammount (depending on the kind of resource you do) in the described scenario. In other areas, the longer the fight, the larger this difference gets.

No, that was never mentioned, nor fixed.
I just did it today for a while to make sure.

He did fix the travel mode exploit, which was somewhat similar to this one

2:41:31 Finished foraging

Overall: 19 real life seconds fight time
0:02:17 RRT spent for 301,479 xp in collection; 12x t8 plants

Now for an area where fights take a little longer (and I made sure to fight the same mob - L91 snake)

Gob Swamp with Accel/DA on

2:34:51 Battle start
2:31:39 Mob dies
2:30:39 Waiting for RRT to stop ticking
2:29:45 Finished foraging

Overall: 32 real life seconds fight time
0:05:06 RRT spent for 301,479 xp in collection; 6x t7 plants

Gob Swamp with Accel/DA off

2:28:00 Battle start
2:27:11 Mob dies
2:26:11 Waiting for RRT to stop ticking
2:24:57 Finished foraging

Overall: 49 real life seconds fight time
0:03:03 RRT spent for 301,479 xp in collection; 6x t8 plants

On both cases, even with longer fights, the RRT spent was much lower (in proportion) when Accel/DA were turned on after the fight, for the same reward in resource xp (in collection while foraging, in this case) and same potential for big pulls

i think he means something else, toggleing tm will remove your option to resource, but toggling accel and double accel off does not(just confirmed this to make sure daer isnt right)

These exploits are terrible. RRT is far less valuable than real time, and frankly most people won't care either way.

srsly?

You can resource two or even three times more in high zones than you could before with the same RRT, it is a big deal

Depending on class and build this may not have been a huge exploit, but it is an exploit nonetheless, and a solid one. 10 TC reward. Will be fixed momentarily.
