Gems
Two new blue defensive gem lines have been added to a faraway town.


Beasts
Players will deal increasing damage to epic and LG beasts based on how long the beast has been alive. Starting with today's patch, the server will keep track of how many Epic and LG kills a player has, and will reduce the amount their bonus damage increases based on the count. Counts are separate and specific to epics and LGs.


Beast Bonuses
LG Beasts give beast bonuses again.

There will still be a beast timer, after which the beast will no longer give bonuses, but it is unlikely the beast will survive that long. 30 mins for epic, 90 mins for LG.

In order to get a beast bonus from dying to a epic and LG beasts, you must start the fight with over half your max health. This will more accurately reward those who are truly trying to kill the beast.

The beast bonus % now goes up in the following pattern (roughly): 30%, 51%, 65.7%, 75.9%, 83.1%, 88.2%, etc. to more accurately reward people who fight the beast more often than others.

Beast bonus is still based in real time, however, it will now persist through logging off and server resets (not yet tested) and only deplete when logged on.


Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug with Learned Defense not working properly vs. the Wound skill.

Fixed a bug where players could be locked into permanent looting of epic beast (not confirmed).

There will be a patch later today so that Quake and Flood will properly remove the new stun/mez immune gem.
