Default 1.243 New Build: Shield Archer, Arena Queue Farming Bonuses

Players can now block while autoshooting, however, at half the normal chance of success. This will make a new build feasible to play: the Shield Archer. Shield Archers will do more damage than their shield using melee counterparts, however, they will also take much more damage. Shield Archers will be faced with the difficult decision of meleeing at the start of combat to make full use of testudo or opening with their normal potential ambush shot and hoping their foe was foolish enough to unload some damage into their testudo prior to that. The haste penalty that archers get for having a shield equipped has been reduced from 25% to 22%. This is due to archers not being able to make use of the bash ability while autoshooting.

Players will now have a 10% chance of getting double trophy drops, treasure chest gold, and resource items if they have fought in an arena in the past 5 minutes or have been in the arena queue for over 5 minutes. This should ensure that only teams that are actively participating or at least attempting to participate in arenas will gain this nice new arena perk. Note that you now have to be in an arena queue for a minimum of 3 minutes before there is a chance of a match popping in order to ensure you can at least squeeze some farming in between matches.

A bug with the improved bash ability occurring more often than it should has been fixed.

An issue where disconnecting players would autoattack prior to an arena match starting has been fixed.

An issue where players could sometimes move out of a square even after another player had forced combat on them has been fixed.

A hotfix has been made to prevent gating and recalling while overly encumbered.
