Default Epic Beast Changes

PKs will be able to engage these epic beasts without fear of triggering PK mode when in combat with the beast and thus being safe from perm death. Being around a crowd of bloodthirsty PKKs still won't be very safe though if you are discovered.

The reward for killing epic beasts has been altered. Originally epic beasts were just a way to test the legendary beast mechanics while finishing the legendary weapons themselves. Since these beasts were met with such a warm welcome we've come up with a way to keep them around without flooding the game with gold and epics. The beast will no longer drop an epic item or as much gold, however, the slayers of epic beasts (the up to 3 people in the group who actually kill it) will all receive a slight epic player health bonus. This bonus will not be active for players yet. This is because the bonus only works for epic players and the process of becoming an epic player is still a secret. Have no doubt it will be very difficult. While we are developing this process players lucky enough to rack up some epic beast kills will see their potential epic player health bonus climb by 5% each kill to a maximum of 100%. If they choose to follow the path of an epic player they may realize this bonus.

Epic beasts will also drop a time card randomly assigned to 1 of the lucky killers.

A queue system has been implemented for stalking PvP opponents and more importantly epic beasts. Players need only force combat once when on the same square as an epic beast and they will be enqueued and their combat will begin in the order that they did the action - first come first serve.

The epic player bonus increment has been changed from 1% to 5%. Anyone who received a 1% bonus will have their bonus automatically set to 5% with the next reload.

Being killed by a beast will no longer result in PK immunity. You will still not lose any rested time and it will be treated like a death to a PK.

Killing beasts will no longer give PKK points.
