Default self cast slot

is it possible to get a self cast gem slot, i find when i am in a group, and am casting, its hard to keep casting on one person, and also then cast on myself, as i have to change selected people.

my proposal is to have a dedicated self cast gem slot that you can designate, which will only allow beneficial gems like heals and replenishes to be cast on yourself, rather than the highlighted person, so it makes casting in a group alot easier, and smoother imo.

you could have it so that the gem slot only allows the beneficial gems and doesn't allow you to draw offensive gems, and you lose of of the slots you have up there (if you designate one)

if anyone has any ideas or anything to add on, please feel free to comment.

if anyone has any pointless 'no' or 'trolling', feel free to play on the train tracks.

hm ya.. ok.. bit complicated :P

Maybe just make the group member selection easier.. like TAB could select the next person in group while in combat.
So you could concentrate the mouse on gems and just tab with the other hand to select groupmembers.

Yeah it would make it way easier, but since it would remove all the skill in being a healer I don't support this. Knowing your own groups defensive capabilities along with opponents offensive capabilities along with the strength and frequency of your heals determines when you need to switch targets to heal and making these judgement calls in an instant is a definite skill and this challenge is what makes healing fun. Please don't take this away!

Part of the challenge comes from knowing what types of actions delay your ability to switch targets. Player skill comes into the picture when you have to choose your clicks wisely in order to be most effective. I would support this, though, because it would make life easier for me, too!

good idea.

we should keep the same clicking option, and slots imo. only thing we need an option for some of our keys, to use for example hold "right arrow key" click ur gem in play and ull cast
the gem u clicked on the person wich is on ur right side. hold "left arrow key" click on gem and ull cast on the person on ur left side. no key hold, u will cast on urself.
