Default Trophy Stacking (again)

Hello Glitchless Development Team,

With Big Game Trophies and ability for cappers to defeat higher monsters a lot about Nodiatis gameplay is stacking trophies.

The skill sets we can develop and equipment we can acquire is very good, and arena + player versus player aspects of Nodiatis are fun as well.

The main mundane boring task, often affected by less that stellar web performance, (lag), is stacking many loot trophies.

Stacking is the most effort intensive task for a strong cap toon actively playing and farming at the moment.

The bottom line is that if the gameplay experience is poor, motivation to play will suffer. We don't explore, chat, browse Auction House, or craft as much as we could because we are busy stacking trophies.

Perhaps for monsters above a certain level we could get less actual trophies, but have the trophies that do drop be the experience value, and weight, of multiple single trophies.

i.e. Instead of getting 99 trophies in 33 stacks of 3, we could get 11 trophies in single stacks, (from say monsters above level 95), and each trophy was 9 times the experience and 9 times the weight of of an existing trophy? Perhaps they could only be stacked 10 high as well?

Even if the team were to make an additional upgrade pack so this happened, and charged 11 tcs for it, i would happily buy it. Even a toggle to turn trophy drops off, but double the size of gold chest, or some other benefit would be an improvement.

If I could change any thing in nod right now stacking trophies would be first on the list. its a struggle, and with lag its a nightmare. sacrificing trophies wouldn't be too far behind, both cases has way too much needless movement of the mouse. Capped toons can't take advantage of sacrificing full stacks as much as low levels can, and for stacking low level toons don't get full pages to have the need for auto stack. So i can safely say that every capped toon would pay for auto stack feature/full stack sacrificing.

I Run multiple toons and I agree having more then one Capped toon playing in any area over Dmv with BGT leveled to 85+ to be a strain on the wrist aswell as the time spent on each character JUST to stack its often been a joke with some overpowered toons that it takes longer to stack then to kill... In my mind offering a PAID upgrade such as premium/standard that is re purchased ( in case bought and alot of downtime you can choose to use this function) I would say that:

A: Make it a tc option for everyone
B: Have it expire after 1: 30days for stadard 2:10 days for premium (but with better stack sizes)
C: It will make Glitchless Inc more money since less time spent stacking more time farming ( most caps have grinder so RRT doesnt decrease in Looting after a certian point)
D: If none of this is possible make it a permanent Upgrade Via the "$" Page for say 11Tc's as suggested. If anything people with nothing else to spend money on will buy it and 75% of caps I know will want this on first day of implement)

You Created auto-loot at least give us the option to auto stack via clicking the
"inventory" Wording above inventory in looting.

You may think people will bot more with easier options but really all thats going to happen is make alot of old time/new players happier and make yourself money. Take time to consider the Pro's and Con's

Couple of interesting ideas here.

I have to agree fighting high levels becomes a pain when you're getting 250+ trophies in stacks of 3 and 6. That's a lot of stacks. Auto-Loot doesn't really help (at least not me). It just transfers everything from the corpse to a mess in my inventory that still has to be sorted out and stacked.

So #1: Against high level mobs, fewer, but larger stacks. Same number of trophies, but in stacks of 10 or something instead of multiples of 3.

#2: Auto-stack with auto-loot, but randomize the location of the "Exit" button, and make it smaller, so that bots won't easily find it. Could even put in a check for the number of times a player, i.e. bot, randomly clicks on the screen after loot-all before the exit button is hit. Too many random clicks could log you out perhaps.

I like it that I'm now soloing higher level mobs, but the physical effort it takes to sort out 2 and 3 pages of trophies is tiring to the wrist.

Some pretty good and well thought out idea's here! I would fully support anything that leads to some form of auto stacking

as has been said trying to stack 3 pages of trophies + lag = mind numbing frustration and boredom

support again!

Yup. Love the concept of random chest+exit button.

Anyways, the chest and button are of different sizes, making it so when they overlap, you can still click one or the other if you're careful (which you should be).

Or maybe Glitch will create a new tool to do that (trophy stacking) finding in Draak and cost about 2 mill gold.
If u where in youre inventory all trophies stacking instantly.
How about that ?

Another idea would be making it an epic adventuring skill.

"Neat Packing" - At rank 25, 50, and 100, this skill makes the trophy piles found on monsters combine with similar items.
- - The game would combine once at level 25, making the total number of piles half the normal amount. With some severe townwalking spree, at 50, this process would happen twice, making the number of piles 4 times less than usual. If you have no life and are the truest of the neat packers, at skill 100, it would happen yet another time, dividing the total number of piles by 8 before sending them to inventory.
- - This COULD mean that you could eventually loot piles larger than 100. What would happen then (would they remain the same, forcing you to split them manually, or split them as your Item Stacking goes?) still remains to be told.

Also as Darkdingus said can be another adventuring skill and combined with epic tool. If we raise that skill at lvl 25 can stack 25 trophies, lvl 50 can stack 50 trophies, lvl 75 can stack 75 trophies and lvl 100 can stack 105 trophies.

I support any idea that helps us actually get Auto Stacking. Auto Loot button doesn't really do us much good, especially when you get more trophies then inventory space and you have to stack them quickly to get the rest to fit.

I cant live without autostackin .
For caster they spend most of their time on range tropies
all speed and al lg suit runes not help has no meaning after u need spend so much tiem on sorting and its pain pain to range

I support fewer throphies with higher values or some kind of auto stacking as long as botters can and will be caught. I also would like resourcers lifes made easier (backburner) with easier stacking there.

Fully agree stacking throphies takes up too much time at this time and takes away from (fun) gameplay, especially for those with several characters.

time stacking trophies shouldn't take anywhere near as long as killing... fix this please to not waste our time farming high level zones. don't want to spend 30 mins of my life stacking trophies for only 1 hour of farming = longer than I want to play.

Great Idea, I also presented the paid option scenario in a previous thread. Really, don't see how it leads to botting. But, i'm sure you could circumvent that with your op programming talents. Fully Support.

I dont think many ppl would mind a checksum in order to use auto stacking.

Not bot proof but I cant think of anything else.

Pardon me for mentioning another game, but if theres anyone here that has played WoW, please share their anti botting technics.

I support this fully stacking has never been fun but it has really become the thing I do the most when I grind and it is frustrating because of the little java lag that makes you wait like 1.2 secs or something before you can pick up the whole stack.

There has got to be a way to bring back fun to grinding.
