Default Mobs always resisting reflecting gems

I was wondering if this happens only to me:
I use two reflecting gems, incidental redirection rank 6 with a 41% chance of being reflected to the caster, and do unto rank 4 with a 66% chance of being reflected to the caster.
Although i am using these gems all the time, i have never seen them actually doing damage - they always get resisted. is that okay?

from what ive seen when they are reflected or mirrored whether they are resisted or not is based on your own cnc, so if you want less resisting raise your cnc.

Thanks. I thought so myself - but then, why does the succesful reflect from the skill deflective shield makes damage? I dont think this should make a difference.

i'll bet that a deflected spell is slightly affected by your INT,

But i think that due to the fact that incidental redirection is a gem, it is directly affected by CNC. Just as a aura of the sloth can be resisted...

I have to say I use a lot of DoT's with little problems, but the rate at which a reflect is successfully mirrored seems to be much different than your typic DoT. I see maybe a success of 1 out of 15.
