Default samurai gear questions

How does this gear determine what procs?

the description leaves much to be desired and leeds to more questions. Other armour is % based (such as hellram). There is no "chances to hit this piece" its a flat % (increasing with tier). I can see why samurai is not flat % as all gear or multiple pieces would proc making this gear slightly OP. However, that being said, not knowing any determining factors one would assume wearing one piece either the chances are 1/6 OR 100% (as there are no other pieces)

If I were to wear 1 piece would it always proc?

Real answers not well maybes plz.

k as usual tested myself ....

the gear with one piece still has "chance" to proc.

THis gear needs a revamp, it really does. Even with a full suit youre barely adding to dps unless someone I using 10 delay stuff, the proc is easy to cleanse and overcleanse removes like nothing and life from death...

much waste... so disappoint... *seppuku the gear*

Several of the armour sets need a bit of a rework imo.

The way it works is.

Every time you are hit.
X/6 chance of pricing samurai proc
Let x be your number of pieces. -shield.

Next

It checks for which samurai piece was hit.
If your just
Wearing a helm and you pass the check above you always proc the helm proc.

If you have helm chest
50% chance for helm or chest.

If you have
A full suit.

33.33%CHANCE FOR ARM proc
33.33% chance for legs.
16.66667% chance for helm
16.66667% chance for BP.

The problem with this set is that balancing it for end-game PvP use would make is extremely overpowered elsewhere.

You could make it scale based on player level and reduce its effectiveness in pve.

yes...

so admittedly its unbalanced PVP. I could see upping its dmg or making it % based a lot better (or both)..

I'm sure sure how this would affect the high end bosses and farming as I haven't done that in a long time. I have no sugestions regarding that.

Gear like that, aliangel, hellram seem to have the same unbalance.

Are there single/group auras they could add (detrimental/beneficial) that would only boost pvp and make them viable? Or a second bonus adding to speed (thinking samurai) or heal gems (aliangel) or dmg shields (hellram)...

I don't know some suggestions...

any ideas I would like to see tbh if something would be done.

is this something that might happen? its expensive to keep remorphing for no real reason and I do hate cookie cutting

I wish Aliangel legs sleeves did something better, i like how they look, but procs are so so.

Maybe aliangel/hellram/samurai arms and legs should heal/shield/dmg based on the wearer's max hp %.This way the armor sets will be balanced for all kinds of combat at all levels.

aliangel:the less hp you have, stronger the heal.17% for up to 10% heal, when struck, based on how low your current hp is.
So if you have 3000 hp, and only 1500 (50%) remaining, proc will have 50% of its power, healing you for 150 hp, but if you have under 300 (<10%) hp, you will get a >270 (9% of max hp) heal.

formula for having 10% hp left:

(max hp/100)*[(proc %/100)*missing hp %]=
(3000/100)*[(10/100)*90]=
30*[0.1*90]=
30*9=
270 heal

great for tacticians (and vampires?) under condition it can trigger at all during tactician's ca.

hellram:same, but uses how high is your hp (best for shield users to build up testudo)
formula uses:remaining hp %, with a minimum value of 1, so the shield doesn't turn "0".Same "1" minimum value for healing above.

samurai:same, but doesn't use remaining/missing hp, but uses a constant.
formula:
(max hp/100)*proc damage=
(3000/100)*7=
30*7=
210 bloodlet/poison (7 for helmet/bp/shield, while legs could use 4 and arms 3)

Your opinion on heal/shield/dmg based on wearer's max hp would be lovely, Glitchless.

how about this...

aliangel gives a slight boost to heal gems (heal/cure) for each piece

samurai gives a slight boost to poison gems and bloodlets

hellram gives a slight boost to dmg shield gems...

I don't see a huge PVE buff here. just additionals that would help in pvp

yeah, this is simpler and more efficient :[

edit:maybe instead of healing bonus, it should give healing *receive* bonus.so it will be the wearer who will get bonus healing/shielding, instead of the caster.so the tank are the ones wearing it, not healers.

or maybe both bonuses.heal bonus to others, bonus to self, and double bonus if you are the one using heal gems on yourself.
