Best Classes for...
Just a simple guide I made on how to get the best class combinations. These classes are best only for what they say they are best for; they are not necessarily the best in the game.
Note: Bow damage is out of date due to changes to Ranger class. Melee Damage is also out of date due to melee auras.
Highest Melee Damage
PvE-
Warrior/Weapon Master: 23.05% to max damage, 7% to min damage
Weapon Master/Warrior: 21.55% to max damage, 10.5% to min damage
PvP-
Warrior/Dark Knight: 23.188% to max damage, 7.12% to min damage
Weapon Master/Dark Knight: 18.3676% to max damage, 18.3676% to min damage
Highest Pet Damage
PvE-
Beastmaster/any class: 24% to max damage, 24% to min damage
With R5 Rabid:
Beastmaster/any class: 86% to max damage, 24% to min damage
Beastmaster/Necromancer: 104.6% to max damage, 24% to min damage
PvP-
Beastmaster/Dark Knight: 27.72% to max damage, 27.72% to min damage
With R5 Rabid:
Beastmaster/Necromancer: 104.6% to max damage, 24% to min damage
Beastmaster/Dark Knight: 91.58% to max damage, 27.72% to min damage
Highest Caster Damage (Death Magic Direct Damage)
PvE-
Warlock/Wizard: 24.2% to max damage, 24.2% to min damage
PvP-
Warlock/Wizard: 24.2% to max damage, 24.2% to min damage
Highest Bow Damage
PvE-
Archer/Ranger: 15% to max damage, 16% to min damage
PvP-
Archer/Ranger: 15% to max damage, 16% to min damage
Archer/Dark Knight: 18.45% to max damage, 3% to min damage
With R5 Broadhead:
PvE-
Archer/Ranger: 26.5% to max damage, 27.6% to min damage
Archer/Paladin: 46.74% to max damage, 27.6% to min damage
PvP-
Archer/Ranger: 26.5% to max damage, 27.6% to min damage

There are many types of PvE... I would like to expand....
Highest Melee dmg vs blacks-super blacks
Weapon Master/Rogue: 10.5% to max dmg.... 28.4% to min dmg
Rogue/ Weapon Master: 7% to max dmg..... 34.9% to min dmg

i suggest re-reading the Dk description as it has a bonus to doT gems.

having to have turbo high dex for the parrying and such a small % bonus i found doesn't work as much as having higher str for more dps.... a tactician pierce user would parry like crazy though

well with the tactician i was thinking more along the lines of a crush user with a slasher style build w/ decent agi and dex (bout 250-300 of each) you parry quite a bit and also have stuns from crush makes a good tank...i havnt fully tested this one tho just what seems to work out best for me so far tho

Whips are better. 99 epic whips have a delay of 19, while crushers have a delay of 25. With level 100 intimidation and stalking, whip stuns will equal stun duration of a max skilled crusher. Also, whips will give bonus to pet damage and healing, and whips are better for parrying (you need to add dex anyhow) , and they allow you to growl.
So obviously, whips are the better tank, hands down.

um whips are worse for parrying w/ a shield cause u dont get the effect of dual parry
just felt i needed to poke a hole in ur story...dps doesnt matter for a tank (assuming going for best tanking ability) so you can use as low level crushers as u want...71 1hers or even 10 crushers

also, the whip bonuses will only work for 1 pet, where as with a crusher, you get more parry but less dps/heals from the pets. is a fair trade off if you ask me
