Default Grammar and Spelling

Since some people have trouble with grammar here are some quick phrases that I've noticed are misused/misspelled often.

1. It's/Its

It's = it is
Its = belonging to or of it

Example:
It's very hard to kill the dragon because of its high defense.

In the examples it's is being used as it is and its is being used to describe the defense as belonging to the dragon.

2. You're/Your

You're = you are
Your = belonging to or of you

Example:
You're going to be shot because of your blatant racist remarks.

3. Then/Than

Then = afterwards, at that time, in addition, therefore

Than is a comparative conjunction

Example:
He had less money than I, but then he won the lottery.

4. I/Me

Correct uses:
Mel killed me.
Bob and I buy our milk form the same market.
Incorrect uses:
Mel killed I.
Me and Bob buy our milk from the same market.

5. Fewer/Less

Correct uses:
I have less water than John.
There are fewer cars on the road today.
Incorrect uses:
to be added
EDIT: Commonly misspelled words have been removed

Just repeat for multiple effects.

DO NOT multiply by 1+slow% to get your new delay. 1*1.4 is not the same as 1/0.6 and your answer will be wrong.

I agree that the players in Nodiatis are terrible spellers. In addition, I've also notice several messages, comments, and sentences whose subjects and verbs are not in agreement. There are even some so-called sentences without a clear subject. Permit me to point out a few of them.

These are common examples I have seen in civil that need to be rectified:

1. I haz gators.
"Haz" is not a word, it's "has". Even then, the correct verb form is "have", so the proper construction is: I have gators.
And if you have gators, u iz UBER!!!

2. Geef me epic, nao!
There are several errors in this one. I believe there are two instances of phonetic attempts to spell the words "give" and "now". Listen up, friends. "Geef" is not a word used in English. In fact, it's a sad attempt to capture the desired word both vowely and consonantly. It does not come close to the vowel sound necessary to distinguish the actual word meant, "give", which consists of the vowel i that is short and clipped, and the short and hard consonant v.
"Nao" is a simpler problem than "geef". This can easily be corrected by substituting ao for ow. It is easily seen how the dipthong ao can be confused with ow.
Please remedy, ppls!!

3. ltb a teecee for 175k.
There are, in any society, abbreviations so overly used that they become part of common parlance and then, by sheer ubiquity, incorporate themselves into the language. "Ltb" and "lfsg" are two occurrences in the society of Nodiatis players. They stand for, respectively, "Looking To Buy" and "Looking For Solo Group". This does not need further elaboration.
"Teecees", or its degenerate form sometimes seen as "teeseas" or in it's poorest form "teeeeeeeeeceeeeeeeeees", is it's own unique and peculiar form for "Time Card" also commonly referred to as "TC". If you haven't realised it yet, do note the phonetic correspondence between "TC" and "teecee". Clever, no?
"175k" is shorthand notation for "175,000". This is often employed in the business world. However, 175k what? 175k gold, of course! Please remember to state the type of unit you are referring to in an explicit way. Thus, acceptable forms are "175,000 gold" or "175k gold".
Finally, every sentence, unless beginning with a numerical character, begins with a capital letter - not a miniscule one.
Incorporating all these remarks stated above, we arrive at the following: "[I am] Looking to buy a Time Card for 175,000 gold."

btw, i'm lfclan w/ rune of plunder r4++ and cheeeep tcs.

Thank you for your attention to these important matters.

Shouldn't that be "Looking to buy" and "Looking for solo group"? I sure didn't know "to," "buy," "for," "solo," and "group" were proper nouns. Sad face (because isn't grammatically correct, right? This one is for you Luke, so you don't have to!).

Also I thought "TC" meant "treasure chest." Oh man, do I ever need to catch up on Nodiatis lingo.

By the way, spell check says that "Nodiatis" is spelled wrong. Glitch should fix that in these forums!

tbh i lol'd irl @ ur post bro. props 2 u dood! xD

You should also mention punctuation/capitalization:

I helped my uncle Jack, off a horse.
vs.
I helped my uncle jack off a horse.

tbh if your demonstrating what a fully capatilzed acronym means such as LFSG or LTB then each word in the demonstation should be capatilized
