Default rune of pain and pet heals

not sure if this is intended or not but rune of pain appears to increase pet heals as if they were damage

are pet heals considered attacks or is this a bug?

w/ rune of pain i heal 67 and w/o i heal 62 max with owls

San is right... rune of pain increases damage done by pet.... fire n ice allows your pet to cause damage and heal u at same time... more the damage caused by pet the more the heal.

F&I heals arent in any way based on the damage the pet does to the enemy its a seperate heal and as i just said i tested and the heals that were obviously being affected by rune of pain were not when F&I triggered

did an hour or so testing on this today

with my skills, if ferocity does NOT affect heals, my max heal should be 142.11

if ferocity does affect heals, it should be 170.18

fighting in N lake for an hour, the max heal seen was 143

from that, ferocity does NOT affect heals.

Think I'm wrong ? don't say so, go and test for an hour or 2, then post your results

Ferocity does not affect heals

Rune of pain should not affect heals ( never noticed it)

F&I has nothing to do with the amount of healing nor pet damage. It's only effect is if they happened together or not. This holds true unless rabid is in effect then if F&I is triggered both a heal and an attack occurs, - rablid turns the heal to an attack so the attack damage goes up by 25% to 50% ( re: rank of rabid ) and heals goes down 100%. The amount of the heal pts with or without rabid is based on three skills, ferocity is not one of them.

TP is correct

We will be correcting the wording on some things, but we will not be changing the way it works which is the following:
All direct modifications to pet damage also affect pet heals EXCEPT for Ferocity which is specific to damage only.

No, only a direct attack damage modifier.
