Heroic Mode Drops

How exactly does heroic mode work??? i mean ... is each drop you get in heroic mode count as double in the epic drop cycle?.. or are heroic mode drops completely different than regular drops...

I was wondering cause I want to epic farm somewhere I cannot handle heroic mode... so if i use heroic mode for drops until i think i should be epic ready in heroic mode, and i switch to regular mode, am I still epic ready?

as far as i can tell, the chance of an epic drop in heroic mode is 66% more then in standard.

which basically means that after you should get an epic drop roughly around 6-8 drops in.

so if i switch back to standard mode at 7 drops in heroic.. am i stilll epic due?

no. as your chance to get an epic would jump back to normal.

if you were in standard and changed to heroic you would have a chance of getting an epic faster. but from what i know you need to be in heroic mode for the entire time to get the full benifit.
