Or...just leave it as is so people don't need to take a day off from work or wake up in middle of the night to have to fight someone from the opposite side of the world. Since brackets mean the 2 teams gotta be on at same time.

As is works. Well for s1 at least. Dodging issues on s2 might want you to force brackets but it's mostly a hassle for anyone else.

Also how exactly would brackets work? If it's single elimination second place team could be knocked out first round vs champs. If it's everyone fights each other once then whoever has most wins is champ that'd just be a total pain having to be on at same time as people from just about everywhere except Antarctica. Or did you have something better in mind?

Would also take out a thing called "adapting" if it's like the two I mentioned. Being unable to adapt and have a second chance like current arena is a bit lame of a change. Basically get it right first time no testing tough crap if you lose? :{ by that standard my team would have lost arena last season since we lost to thorin our very first match before we adapted.
(You could say test during token parts but if people only had one chance in brackets like they'd actually play seriously during token part. They'd just screw around and keep everything hidden for end. And testing vs say jade who came in top 15 isn't same as testing vs say nemesiss who came in third)

At the start of rush week, your queue amount is reset to 400. Assuming you were already using all queues, that would more than double the amount of fights normally possible for that week. It is both fair and intended.

We've added the following the standard rush announcement to clarify:

Arena double drop bonus will also decay faster than usual during rush, requiring 50% more fights per day to maintain your current total. This should be possible, however, due to your queue count being reset to the maximum 400 at the start of the rush.

Ok... i am trying to understand if this is correct so please help me out as i am not math savy at all.

Current bonus: 12.639
Bonus after decay: 6.320
Fights needed to get back to 10% bonus: 27

Is this an accurate calculation based on the new decay of the rush week?

Also another toon

Current bonus: 10.5
Bonus after decay: 5.250
Fights to get back to 10%: 33

If this is accurate i would like to know so i can plan ahead and not use most of my fights in one day when i actually have the time and save as many as possible for the final couple of days of arena

So, if I read this correctly, instead of your fight index decaying by 50% you will lose 75%?

In other words, currently if your fight index was 100, your bonus would be 10% (still the same), but at reset your fight index is 0.5*100 = 50 ... for a bonus of 7.071.

Now, would your fight index at reset change to 0.25*100 = 25 ... for a bonus of 5%?

*Edit:

Out of rush it would take 23 fights to get back to 10% bonus, during rush it will now take 34.? Yikes, but do able I guess

Well, confirmed that the bonus after decay is not the sqrt(0.25*FightIndex) ... though not probably completely mathematically accurate (because I am not in the mood to care enough) ... the new bonus after decay seems to be roughly sqrt(0.2446*FightIndex)

So after reset my bonus on one toon was 6.185 instead of the calculated 6.320.

Glitch is there any way you can explain the math behind this? Because it makes no sense to me.

.25 is correct, but the result is truncated to an integer.

He's right. It is the anti gem gem gem that is truly being asked for. And that is a gem that exists so deep beneath the surface, it would require a dwarven Todd Hoffman to unearth.
