Default drained with impervious

At the very start of some arena fights when i have impervious up on opening attack i get drained, this happened a few times now and its not coming from a drain gem like defolate or such. Happened just now against Team Locurasbeach. Not sure what it is, I am not sure if their is any aura that can bypass impervious? because otherwise it can not be a normal gem as it happens on the opening attack. The only auras i saw present were weighted and sharpened steel/melee haste. didn't see any melee thief. unless if was removed right away but doubtful.

With a screenshot it would be a lot easier to tell if it came from an attack or not.

Sometimes its a lot more like from a big crusher hit. But here you can see the couple small drains. seems like it might be from 3% theft

Any thoughts Glitch? I am thinking it is the early pet attacks that is happening before the impervious aura is recognized

^ Would make sense as pets seem to be the only thing that can jumpstart the arena timer

There's not really any room in the code for an issue with impervious to not work when it is active. If you're getting drained it must not be active at the time. The question then becomes, was there a bug that's causing it to be inactive when it should have been active... This only happens at the very start of the arena combat? Was the impervious icon showing well before the opening attacks or did it just appear along with the opening attacks?

I only notice it at the start as the tank taunts and I change pouch soon after that so the aura gets removed. I have little energy so I cannot cast my first gem sometimes due to this drain. it will be pretty hard to notice if the aura is up at the time of the drains since everything happens when the countdown hits 0. If the aura is active the second arena starts this probably wouldn't happen?

I can't help but notice that your other skills are just short of being off CD, which means that the other team attacked you before you had the chance to activate anything.

Could this be linked? Could the auras activate at the same time everything else goes off CD?

^ But at the same time, if you look the aura sign is up... so either way it's either packet lag or something..

We'll need to make auras activate prior to the actual beginning of combat to ensure they're active on everyone when the pets begin to attack. This is an issue worth fixing and we thank you for bringing it to our attention.

If you DO make the auras active prior, make sure that the auras that cost manergy don't start using any before the match actually begins

Ok thanks. good to know now that vital auras like angelic will be active when they are meant to be. could be the difference between an opening hit kill and winning the fight or losing it.
