Kurts definitely dead.... I remember it well I laughed for a full month... All the little grungers moping about with there little tributes to him!!! LMAO.

My response is the same now as it's always been... Kurt wanted to make POP music. The record companies would only let him make rock... In supporting his music you caused his death and are part responsible.... Go kill yourself.

It usually got a respectable response....

In retrospect Kurts music is closer to pop than metal in a lot of ways. I always felt a little sorry for the Guy.. He was pretty much a freakshow. Sent from town to town to be stared at in his depression and misery. There is little wonder he needed the drugs.

As for the RHCP, they were better on drugs. The newer stuff doesn't cut it... It's not innovative or crazy like it used to be.. They cleaned up and sold out.

Saying that i did enjoy music in the 90's Kyuss, and White zombie were huge high points in the music of the time for me.

I'm sorry, while I love the hell out of both artists, the chili peppers couldn't get any whiter as far as funk goes ...

Nirvana ... I'm not sure, but I'd probably trade the years 1995-2005 artists to see what he would have come up with. Still impressed by the simplicity of some really meaningful lyrics.

Hey iceni, shut the hell up. its obvious that kurt went crazy over of cocaine and shot himself with a shotgun.
before he shot himself he left a note. the note said all this stuff like im sorry, blablabla, but at the end it said forever in debt to your priceless advice. that line is from the song heart shaped box, which was the last song they played at their last show. And by the way its not funny at how all those grungy kids making tributes to kurt. you really dont know how big nirvana would be if kurt was still alive.
nirvana is my favorite band ever and nothing beats it. oh and also by the way, wtf? kurt didnt want to make pop music, he wanted to make grungy metal, kinda like soundgarden.

in all seriousness, kurt was very talented, sort of a savant music genius if you like, and he did have huge potential still.

loved his songs from the first time I heard them, even though I was just around 7 years old when he died

and on another note I do agree grungy kids paying tributes and **** are funny )
