Default attack delay

ending boss fight doing resource switching to a diff suit to heal up not in combat switch back to bm suit begin new fight theres a slight (sometimes a long depending on how quick I enter new fight after changing suit) delay before my pets/bow attack on the new kill as opposed to when I enter fight right after resourcing I attack immediatly

Switching suits causes attack delay. This is intended to prevent exploitation.

Could I suggest that delays are removed when not in combat, but keep them in for combat. I've had a similar issue farming and switching to a shield in resourcing. Then switching to primary suit after resourcing. I am out of combat. When I enter combat (with a shield on) there is a annoying delay there. I am trying to figure out what the exploit is that you are trying to prevent? What is exploitable by eliminating the delays when out of combat?

only exploit I can think off is 1 hit farming where between kills someone switches to low delay weapons quickly then back to their high delay 1 hit weapons to keep insta killing whatever they are fighting

delay from the slow will carry over when switching suits , so that is not the exploit, same with weighted steel. Delay carries over into the next fight

Suit swapping is an activity that should take time. In or out of combat - it doesn't matter. It does not, however; it is instant. You therefore incur other time/delay penalties. This will remain. If you want to minimize these, you need to be strategic about what you are swapping between and when.
