Default Accuracy - Clarification needed

So the question now is - which is it? 3% per accuracy level or 4.5% per accuracy level?

it could be like this but im likely wrong

estimates are horrible but its jusrt an example

poor:10% + .9(x%) off your dex (for arch/pierce/slash)/str(for crush)
normal could be 20% +.8(x%)

etc.etc.?

it closes the gap little by little but it is never 100%. thats why you shouldn't invest too heavily on accuracy because there is likely a cap and the points you waste in dex is like a little 1% more.. maybe if it even exists.

I would use both and take an average of the two at the end the calculations.

That would you can have a fairly accurate estimate.

Though I still doubt about how accuracy bonus is applied:
<hit chance> = <base hit chance> * (1 + 0.045 * <accuracy lvl>)
or
<hit chance> = <base hit chance> * power(1 + 0.045, <accuracy lvl>)

lol well its likely this..----

p=chance to hit without
q=chance of miss

with accuracy bonus, the new p is p + %(q)

I say this because i hit like 99% on crushers. and an assurance rune does practically nothing.

Most likely weapon accuracy is not applied to chance to miss. Otherwise you would have great chance to hit black mobs. Think hit chance is just capped at 99% or so. This explains why it is beneficial to fight in areas with opponents beyond your lvl so your hit chance is not wasted.

well you've also gotta understand that with an accuracy of 99% you miss 1/.01 or 1 in 100.

with an accuracy of 99.8%, it'd come out to 1/.002 or 1 in 500.

This seems to be the only feasible method with the assurance rune.

Where I view that a weapons accuracy is:

Poor
Normal
Good
Great
Excellent
Exceptional
Epic

and so on, are they in the right order from worst to best or Normal better than Good?

Also which Accuracy descriptions have I missed?

You missed Great and Epic. Pretty sure you've got the order right though. Someone care to find a Glitchless quote on this?
