Couple things, I feel like, since this is a Melee guide that examples/stats should be given for all melee weapon types, and so I’m gonna do this as 4 classes in 1, one for each weapon type. Hopefully it’ll still be clear as to what I’m going for The way I’m gonna show number is a set of 4 in the form of (crush/slash/pierce/whips) under the melee stats, because this is where they will differ. The other thing, this will be a PvE build since the idea is to get to cap, safely and with a little speed, slowly in high combat % zones, in which you will raise CE/CS/MP/SE up to ~your lvl giving you time to raise needed skills.

Char Class: Warrior, Weapon Master, Rouge, BeastMaster
Weapon type: Crush, Slash, Pierce, Whips respectively(DW for all, 1H + shield for boss)
Build type will be 140/39/140/1 for all 4 classes.

Strategy for lvls 1-19:
2 Melee and 2 Defense per lvl, giving a build at lvl 19 of 39/1/38/1(1 stat required til lvl 20)
Melee lvls:
Str – (3 for crush/2 for slash/1 for pierce/2 for whips)
Dex – (0/1/2/1)
Pst - (0/0/0/0)
Defense lvls(roughly even):
Agi – 1
Cnt – 1
Dur – 1
The idea here is too boost your damage and also block chance in melee(1H + shield til DW skill). In defense it is to keep agi approximately 110 + your lvl, contravention approximately 120 + your lvl, and put the rest into dur. Spreading them out evenly will achieve this by lvl 19. Shooting for Defense stats of roughly 130/140/145.

Important Skills:
Crush/Slash/Pierce/Whips should be 24-25
Suiting – 25
Blocking – 25
Testudo – 20+
Critical stike – 19 (biggest boost < lvl 20)
Overcrit/Hemmorage – ~15 (hemm slightly higher for piercer)
Parry/Impedance/Combat Recovery - ~15
Sorcery - 15
Green/White – 18 (for rk 3 heals, invigorate or 2)
Mind Bending/Diabloism - ~15 (for resistances)
Blue – 10 (balance and a manaburst or 2)
Black – 15 (a few DoTs to help with DPS)
Gemhandling – 10 (2 of each gem)
Replenish/Revitalize – 10-15
Petmanship – 18(20 for whip users)
Taming, Loyalty – 15+ (whip)
Wound – 20(whip)
Predacity – 20 (whip)
Other skills to think about:
Wizardry, Divination, Remedial Focus
Learning should focus on Boosting passive speed, so Active Learning followed by Passive Learning. Then AA and GA for bonus XP.
Adventuring should focus on item stacking and decuberance, followed by archeo.

Equipment:
Should have lvl 25 armor equipped, if not using epics lvl 20 armor should be used, and should be working on 27 armor. This includes 25 or 20 shield as well. Chippies for non-whip users, Pomeranian for whip user.
Weapons – Warrior should be using Ball and Chain(22 crush), WM should be using a Blood Claw(15 slash), and working towards Zombie Claws(28 slash), or using the Lightsteel Axe(24 slash), Rogue should be using the Amethyst Long Dagger(20 pierce) and working towards the 25 piercer. BM should be using the Chain Whip(21 whip), or the 18 if non-epic, working on 26.
Gem pouch should consists of majority of healing gems, with a couple replenishers, and a few DoTs as you see fit, aura of thorns/reflection/sloth in slots 2-4.

Farming:
Should be farming N. Pass or N Dread(non-epic/epic), and should be able to solo both NPass and Moss Dungeon Lvl 2 bosses easily, and be giving the NDread boss a run for his money.

Enchants:
Should be str focused for crush/slash/whips, and dex focused for pierce. Str enchants on Pomeranian as well. –mre/-pre/-int are recommended.

Strategy from lvl 20-39:
Evenly lvl Melee, Magic, and Defense, this will keep your melee damage strong, and allow you to use a bow for opening shot that does decent damage. Should be ~27 lvls apiece(26/27/27/0) makes build now 65/28/65/1, with 1 stat until lvl 40.

Melee lvls:
Str – (2 for crush/1 for slash/0 for pierce/1 for whips)
Dex – (1/2/3/2)
Pst(0/0/0/0)
Magic lvls:
Int – 0
Cnc – 3
Mst – 0(occasionally 1, with Cnc taking 2)
Defense lvls:
Agi – 1
Cnt – 1
Dur – 1
The idea from lvl 20-39 is to keep your melee damage high, but focus on hitting as often as you can. Parry now becomes a big part of your defense. Defense stats strategy is the same, adding another 10 to agi, cnt, now 120+lvl and 130+lvl respectively. Should now be roughly 150/160/180 in defense. In Magic Cnc will increase opening shot damage, and will also help DoTs to not be resisted. Both int and cnc play a role in bow damage, but you can choose either. Cnc helps more in this build. You may choose to place a few points into Mst for more mana for heals as well.

Shared Bliss/Palisade – 30+
Replenish/Revitalize – 25-30
Outbreak, Dark Patience - 30+
Dual Parry – 35+
Deflective Shield – 30+
Combat Concentration/Endurance – 25+
Petmanship – 37/45(swans or chippies for heals, sheep/seal or skunks/chippie for whip-user, can adjust to 2 attack or 2 heal pets as needed)
Taming/Loyalty/Ferocity – 35+ (whip user)
Wound – 38+(whip user)
Predacity – 38+ (whip user)
Archery – 36/39 (non-epic/epic)
Ambush – 35+
Trishot/Critcal/Serial Crit – 30+
Trained Eye, Flameshot – 30+
Keep all original weapon and protection skills 30+ as well.
Other skills to think about:
Repel, Healing, Longevity, Perseverance, Replay
Learning should focus on Perception, Cognizance, Active Learning, and Passive...followed by Squirehood and companionship. Then AA and GA again for bonus XP.
Adventuring should focus on item stacking and plunderfiend and packmule, followed by archeo and treasure sense.

Equipment:
Should have lvl 39 armor equipped, if not using epics lvl 36 armor should be used, and should be working on 45 armor. This includes 39 or 36 shield as well, mainly for boss fights. Swans or chippies for non-whip users, Sheep(45 pet)/skunks(38 pet) for whip users.
Weapons – Warrior should be using Frosted War Torches (46 crush), WM should be using a Zombie Claws(epic 28 slash) or using the Broadsword(42 slash), Rogue should be using the Flailing Treble(epic 42 pierce)or the Dagger of Blizzards(45 Pierce). BM should be using the Tree Claw(epic 37 whip), or the Whip of Light (45 whip).
Gem pouch should consists of majority of healing gems, with a couple replenishers, and a few DoTs as you see fit, aura of thorns/reflection/sloth in slots 2-4.

Farming:
Should be farming Vampire Dungeon Lvl 1, and should be able to solo the Bat Caves boss easily, possibly the VD1 boss as well.

Enchants:
Should be str focused for crush/slash/whips, and dex focused for pierce. Str enchants on sheep/skunks as well. Dur never hurts, nor does a little extra Cnc for opening shot or auras.

Strategy from lvl 40-59:
Evenly lvl Melee, Magic, and Defense, stopping Magic at lvl 39. 100/39/99/1 now, with 1 stat until lvl 60.

Pst(0/0/0/0)
Magic lvls:
Int – 0
Cnc – 3
Mst – 0(occasionally 1, with Cnc taking only 2)
Defense lvls:

The idea from lvl 40-59 is to focus on maxing your melee damage. Defense strategy is the same, adding another 10 to agi, cnt, now 130+lvl and 140+lvl respectively. Should now be roughly 180/190/225 in defense. Magic strategy is the same, full Cnc with a few points in Mst for heals if you desire.

Green/White – 54 (for rk 7 heals and some invigorates)
Blue – ~40 (balance and manabursts )
Black – ~50 (DoTs, adding sloth aura)
Gemhandling – 50 (4 of each gem)
Mana Vault/Everence – 30+
Banish Light/Grim Resolution/Null Mind – 40+
Dual Parry – 50+
Deflective Shield – 50+
Petmanship – ~62(hawks/wolves for whip users. Seals for epic heals, or wolves/chippies for non-epic users. Working on 68 pet for bear cubs for non-epic users)
Taming/Loyalty/Ferocity – 50+ (whip user)
Wound/Predacity – 55+(whip)
Growl/Intimidate – 40+(whip)
Fire and Ice-50+ (whip)

All relevant Lvl 0 skills should be ~50+ and Lvl 20 skills should be ~45+

Bash(boss fights w/shield) and Hasten Demise
Learning should focus on Cultivation, then as before.
Adventuring should focus on plunderfiend and packmule, followed by archeo, treasure sense, and item stacking. Climbing and Exploration should follow.

Equipment:
Should have lvl 58 armor equipped, if not using epics lvl 63 armor should be used. This includes 58 or 63 shield as well, mainly for boss fights. Seals(53 pet) or chippies for non-whip users, Hawks(62 pet) or Wolves(61 pet) for whip users.
Weapons – Warrior should be using Blood Spike Mace(epic 59 crush) or Glacial War Clubs(64 crush), WM should be using a Blue Crystal Axes(epic 52 slash) or using the Molten Longsword(61 slash), Rogue should be using the Dragon Fang Dagger(epic 64 pierce)or the Ice Bone Long Dagger(63 Pierce). BM should be using the Dragon’s Tongue(63 whip).
Gem pouch should consists of majority of healing gems, with a few replenishers, and a few DoTs as you see fit, aura of thorns/reflection/sloth in slots 2-4.

Farming:
Should be farming Arena Isle, and should be able to solo upto the Coral Wreckage boss, possibly it as well.

Enchants:
Should be str focused for crush/slash/whips, and dex focused for pierce. Str enchants on hawks/wolves as well. Dur never hurts, nor does a little extra Cnc for opening shot or auras.
