It's theory in a nutshell is that you and all of Nod can repel an invasion against your local town in an effort to save what the humans have strived to repair since the "Orc Invasion." If you've ever played Dead Frontier it would be exactly like what they had there. you're given 2 to 3 hours to fight of the invaders and you have several different stronghold to defend. Church, Gate, Town Square and each one could boost a certain class. Church boosts casters, Gate boosts Melee, Square boosts BM's. Let the players assist one another instead of pitting them against each other.

Have a meter that keeps track of the orcs that have been killed and how many reinforcements they have available and base the rewards on those figures. Keep in mind it could be several towns at once, or just one in particular and plan accordingly.
