If you want to start the new players with 0 gold maybe a link to dragon wizard would be useful for them to get a little bit of gold to get started.

not only is he making it so that new players are going to be discouraged that they have to start with 0 gold. he is going to make is so those who are trying to make mules, are gonna feel the pain of it too.

The new players should be no problem, they have no idea how it used to be, so what they dont know, wont hurt them.

even making mules if you cant still do the same then you fail... kill some things, buy all dur armor kill some more buy totd kill few more buy BP by now you should have a good amount of relic damage kill some higher up things get another totd... not hard... the starting 250k really didnt help...

it was a starting 50k actually and it was actually quite useful imo. saves some time when you're trying to make mules |

Well I was away for a week, saw Jeff's new post about the ad campaign and possibly lots of new players.. and also saw his post about removing the guide system. Did all the new players expose flaws in the system that could not be easily changed or what?

an on another note, i wonder if jeff is doing this, just to piss off the veterans of RWK. to see how far he can push them before they snap on the Noobs.

Just read NS's post in another thread, apparently /mentor does still work, just /guide doesn't, I had assumed that they were part of the same package. I'm wondering what use /mentor has without /guide anyway, unless the newbs are aware of it by that login message it probably won't get used unless people start posting in chat that anyone who wants help can pm them for help, which will allow the mentor system to get abused just like it used to.

I was on s1 for a while the past couple days and saw 4 different people post thing like "if you need help me me... when you get to level 1 type /mentor "name"" s2's mentor system isnt abused as bad  |
