lol ok I can handle that...but I do agree that some people can be biased, but if your friends are smart enough to not break rules, then you wouldn't have to choose between them

anyway let me remind that at one point it was first strike and your out with chat rules. Your saying theres a sever necesity of mods then saying that they shouldnt have powers because it wont be used right... Jeff ./pwns and if he fells like spendiung his time watching rwk to ban rule breakers its his choice and if he has a life and doesnt then awesome... If theres a sever rule break its not hard to have it known, and if jeff fells like it deserves a ban then he will take the actions. no matter how much you discuss it it is clearly jeff's choice.

While it is Jeffs choice to either police chat, or to have a Mod do it, the fact remains that past incidents have shown that many player-mods abuse their power.
Player-mods are helpful, but there should be an option to report them if they are abusing their powers. If one person reports because they are upset for their punishment, well thats just a whiner.
But when you receive reports from 30 or 40 people that a Mod is abusing his power, surely it would be taken care of.
And unless 30 or 40 people were to report this abuse, its more then likely a pissed of player who broke the rules and didnt like his punishment.

Again, popularity contests will solve nothing. If mods are implemented, complaints should be taken by Jeff, but not a vote thing. If the amount of complaints become a concern, there should be an activity log system for Jeff to check to see what actually is happening. Under his discretion, an abusive mod shall have consequences dealt to him/her/

If you trying to cleverly suggest yourself as a mod you're ****ing nuts. You may have no stake in the game but you have your own bias. You'd corrupt as easy as anyone else.

Mods are a waste of time. A newb is spamming shout? Who the hell cares. That's the only pertinence surrounding this. To make sure people can chat "in peace" because it's serious business.

Everything else is Jeff-worthy.
