Gatherer does not increase the chances of getting rares, it just makes it so you can do the minigame more times, but the dowsing proc is nearly pointless because any level 90 can instantly kill GS...

Honestly melee isn't bad non-werewolf, I'd say its average. pierce, slash, or crush.

Only difference is , werewolf does it better. resistance buff, and dice chance is just great for a melee
