I think poker has always been fair and fun.... as I have played poker for more hours then most. It is equal in cost (both ash and gold) to ashing (killing monsters for items/ash). If you change the numbers in poker then it might add an unfair advantage.

As for the zero pot problems that Brian has spammed in this post. All Brian needs is a poker chat so the players can talk there where Brian does not have to listen.

If you do add a high stakes poker (jimcav) with 100 ash max bets then I would still leave the standard poker. That would let the people that can not pay the bigger amounts or ash still play for fun. In the 100 ash poker the bonuses would still need to be the same thou. This highstakes poker will create a lot more drama (in chat).

Poker is one of the main reasons I was so attracted to RWK and I would not mess with it at all. Add a poker chat and add a highstakes poker for the people that have more ash to spend. Many ideas have been talked about at length in chat. These two are the best ones I have seen and liked.

How does adding a poker char stop players from not betting and farming ash rewards?

Poker chat would be fun. I think poker would be more fun if you got to talk about it with all the other poker players.

It would also need to be able to be turned off in actions/ options. That way if I did not want to hear about people pre flopping while I play I can simple turn poker chat off.

I dont even know why people call it "pre flopping". They hate if you bet at all period no matter what betting round.
