Part of the attraction of the game was that you could get your upgrades for free if you were willing to work for them, it was always intended to be that people could if they wanted to.

well without the action limit people were able to use macros on multiple characters clicking and ungodly amount of time... I don't know as even if you ash and earn your upgrades through ashing without poker / guide / and so forth it does take a fairly decent amount of time.... I can't see someone being able to come up with 50k ash in 2 weeks or something through just clicking method unless as I stated they were way above the action limit... not to mention drops on surface a lot less frequent then shrines / keeps ... I assume that they estimating 4k actions per hour (thats the limit right now?) that's about 67 actions in 1 minute which some actions have no delay or so minimal (haste so forth)... to keep that rate up for extended periods of time (5 hours or something) that would be hard to do since people do use bathroom, cramps, sheer boredom, and so forth...

Then again some people say they are hitting with 15 minutes left which means they are averaging ahh about 89 actions per minute so it's whatever I guess. I personally would really love to see darkharvest have a higher range but that's not going to happen since then it would make it a step above the others by a far amount (depending the increase range)...

of course a destroy all option would totally make ashing go soo much faster instead of individual destroying...

okay, not argueing with the update, but is there any way to make it so that it doesnt spam the message every like 3 seconds? and that it only says it, if you click after you have reached it, and before hour change? would be appreciated. just happens to be slightly on the annoying side is all.

(for jeff)

First, I ashed 50k in a week and a half during school holidays without hotkeys or macro. I really wanted SoA

Second, destroy all would be good, but almost impossible to introduce unless you don't mind losing all your equip etc every time you use it. It would basically be too complex and too much effort for an update that wouldn't be worth it.

When Glitchless failed with rune corruption and I alched out plexes, I was doing around 35k actions an hour and got account locked multiple times. That was over a year ago... not like he didn't know what was going on. Also here's an email I sent to Glitchless:

"I'm wanting to use two computers at once to bezzle faster. I'd have one with a hotkey for submitting the /pe and the other would be for moving. This would allow actions to be submitted faster as there would be no delay and no time outs due to submitting too fast. Having the same char logged twice wouldn't pose a problem because /pe has no delay that gives 10 second penalties. There's no rule or anything to prevent a char from being logged on multiple times and you've stated using hotkeys is allowed. I'd still be here at my computer paying attention, giving input, and can still pass security checks, etc. so I dont see any reason why I wouldn't be allowed to do this, but I thought I'd check to make sure I'm not crossing the line somewhere. Thanks."

Reply: "As long as you are responsive on both windows you’ll be ok. A random one of them will be locked on occasion and you’ll be asked to respond. If you don’t you’ll be banned."

Pretty much got the OK to hotkey/macro as fast as I could set it up as long as I passed security checks. Also to get around the bezzling problem now just multiwindow with multiple chars set up with hotkeys. I used 4 windows, so that's 4 chars, 8k an hour. Thats about as fast as I went before.
