First off, The list he has is corect. That is how I went the 2nd time, unless I was out of gates and recalls, then they were priority depending on if they had epics and what level they were.

Second off, you missed out on Evilviper 52 and Milfhunter 52.
You also missed Evilviper 69, Ratspike70, and Trainer 70

First off, his post is 7 months old.
Sencond off, spartan is somewhere playing in the sand in Iraq for the last half year.

Hmm... this thread needs some serious updating covering the new pk updates. One thing I noticed was that after my alt had gone pk, he was out of PvP combat for 30 minutes and was still flashing red. What I didn't realize at the time is that being hunted by a PKK'er causes a time extension. It seemed like 5 or 10 minutes (which felt like forever considering I was unaware of this), but he never entered combat with the PKK'er. This would've been nice to know beforehand. Heh, the idea of not knowing when my flashing face would wear off became a rather frightening prospect. So Glitchless... anything you'd like to add? ^_^

thatperson 02-14-2010 03:39 PM

whenever you are forced on you remain flashing for at least 15 minutes after being forced whether u enter combat or you are just stalked

Asahel 02-14-2010 04:02 PM

Heh, yeah, I know that now. Main idea is to push to get this guide updated with current info. This guide is quite old...

Roeth 02-14-2010 05:20 PM

Agreed with Asahel, the original post by Glitchless could do with updating - as in that PKs can use normal chat now

Also a fun little fact: If you're a PK and you win a duel, you still go flashy, though no one is notified since you didn't actually PK someone. On the other hand, do you perma-die if you were PK in a duel and lost? Pretty sure you do, but don't want to try that one out for myself.

thatperson 02-18-2010 12:29 AM

yes you permadie if u lose a duel as a PK...i believe it counts as a PKK also not completely sure about that tho

Another thanks to 'Person. Click Log Out to see how much time you have left till you can log out/gate.

bump. Updates needed.

Both in game at the seer and here.

OK, I read the entire thread several times carefully now, but I did not see the benefit of pking mentioned in this thread, for one.
I heard in game from various players mentioning that pkers can get a boost in exp and trophies, is it true? And if so, what are the boosts? How to calculate them?
And how is the range protection/restrictions of pk and pkk calculated?
And how is the group combat rule now for the pk/pkks out of range?

thatperson 06-24-2010 06:32 AM

PKs get a 3x boost in experience (all exp cept trophs) and trophy drops

range is calculated by how you choose to kill if you kill in a +/-5 or +/-10 range your range is +/-5 or +/-10 if you kill outside a +/-10 range you are fair game

a PK cannot force combat while grouped without going to a free for all range 1-80 and a PKK cannot force on a PK while they are grouped with someone outside the range of the PK

Thank you very much!

New title...finally

Underkid 01-02-2012 09:47 PM

u sure that a pkk cant force on a pker if he is grouped with another pker out of the pkker range? or am i confused lol? or is that post rather old? sorry to bother ^^

Always carry an Enchantment rod an gate(s) potion. If a PKer is near open up crafting with enchantment rod. They can't force battle while crafting. After 20 seconds or so, use gate potion right away, teleporting yourself out of danger.

Ok I am looking for some clarification here. I have heard conflicting reports for both sides on this issue. If you are pk and are not flashing and die to a mob, is it a perma death?

From glitch:
"PK death is only permanent if the PK is flashing red. Flashing red or PK mode as it is often called is caused when the PK is involved in any forced combat regardless of who forced it. Duels, Arena matches, Clan battles, do not cause you to enter PK mode, however, if you are already in PK mode when you enter combat of any type then you are at risk of dying permanently."

Glitchless 09-19-2012 12:03 PM

If not flashing red you will not perm die to a mob.

Srci 09-19-2012 07:15 PM

Thank you! This will make farming thankfully much less exciting (daze killing self would be a sad way to perma die).
Well if I had a pk that is.... O_O
