Enchanting Guide

Then buy an enchanting rod in Stronhad and experiment with different resources to create different and sometimes random enchantment stones. If experimenting with unknown recipes isn't your thing then either wait for others to do the ground work in enchanting or merely buy enchantment stones from others in auction to redistribute your item's stats.

Fun fact: You can't equip an item with negative stats if you have less than 100 points in that stat.

Good thing my alt is about to change weapons, because haha, SURPRISE.

Edit: Well, that was a quick fix, haha. Now it's 50, i guess?

I feel so powerful, causing a server reboot all by myself, muahaha.

heres all the materials that give 100% in a stat
This means that when you use one of theese materials in the left spot you get +in that stat and when you put it in the right spot you get - in that stat.

for example
dye in left spot and fish scales in right slot would be +str/-int
the better materials the higher + and -

for example 2 lvl 2 materials would give +2/-2.
2 lvl 4 materials would give +4/-4
1 lvl 2 material and 1 lvl 4 material would give +2/-2.

Bone 100% pst

skin 100% Mre

leather 100% dex

plank 100% dur

thread 100% cnt

cloth 100% cnc

ingot 100% pre

Geodes 100% mst

oil 100% reg

sinew 100% agi

dye 100% str

scales 100% int

here are the materials that have 33% or 50% in 2 or 3 stats.. im not totally sure every material have the all the possible stats and that it really is 50% or 33% might be less or more in some stats.. it might depend on what other materials ure using aswell..
My advise is keep to the 100% materials..

Carass 33% pst 33% cnt 33% Str

sticks 33% str 33% int 33% pst

silk 33% pst 33% int 33% mre

ore 33% str 33% agi 33% cnt

plants 33% mst 33% agi 33% cnt

fish 50% mst 50% dur

vegetable 33% Pre 33% reg 33% dur

rodent parts 50% dex 50% reg

So that it is always here for refrence

Some other fun things i have found out...

It is possible to create "blank" stones to remove these effects.

It is also possible for level 1 items to create +2 effects..

Kellisa 09-15-2008 06:30 AM

Blanks are made by either using an enchanting rod and clicking submit with all slots empty, or using 2 resources which have a chance of producing the same stat.

Never seen tier one items make +2 effects by themselves though o.O unless you have other tier one resources as well (in another row).

Picho 09-15-2008 02:33 PM

yeah i did three rows of resources.

Picho 09-25-2008 01:40 AM

found two of the errors from before.

Sticks also give pst.
Carcasses give Str

Now that we know which materials affect certain stats, we now need to compile a list detailing the levels of each item type. For example grass cloth & grass thread are level 3(?). Diseased sinew is level 1. Etc. I'll start:

Threads & Cloths

House - level 1
Grass - level 2
Garden - level 3

Dyes

Elderberry - level 1
Thistleberry - level 2

Leathers

Mongoose - level 1
Quadhorn - level 2(?)

Ingots

Citrine - level 1
Lilac - level 2(?)

Scales

Flounder - level 1

Sinews

Diseased - level 1

Post your findings (including fixing errors) and I will try to update as much as I can.

Kellisa 10-05-2008 01:20 AM

The entire list is in a spreadsheet attachment :)

Shidoshi 10-05-2008 02:00 AM

LOL, of course it is!! :)

Bytales,

Flashus

Hope it helps

Drugar 04-06-2009 08:29 PM

played around with the 33% / 50% resources.. at first it did seem to be tied to what you were combining it with, and then it went completely random when I tried to jot down what they were. So it does look random (unless I'm losing my mind.. which is possible too)

Destruction 04-28-2009 09:56 AM

Um, this guide needs at least one bit of updating:

Fish can give Agility making it a 33.3% not a 50% ingrediant.

Also, my guess is that 'rodent parts' is not a 50% either by the pattern. Someone might want to look into it. =)

sierracoop 07-08-2009 05:04 PM

adino 07-28-2009 12:08 PM

wow nice (22)

sierracoop 09-20-2009 01:59 PM

Ok i have a question. When i use a stone is there by any chance getting the stat that got lowered back up to it being white or green, in other words, normal?
