Hot/Cold

Glitch,

I would like to suggest as the hot/cold reset is every 2 days, could we have a 48hr countdown until hot/cold zone resets displayed as a hover over on the game clock?

Thanks,
Kirito

What I'd rather have is for the bonus to float across screen only once during the hotzone duration, and then it to appear at the top left corner of the nod screen whenever you re-enter that zone. It's an absolute nightmare for people who townwalk between Atlimus and Burdina because that message appears over and over and over again...

It just pushes down everything else in your left chat box, forcing you to scroll down much further or lose the messages much quicker than usual and have to ask the person/clan to resend the message if you didn't remember it.

A solution I'd actually like to see about this is for the left chat box to have 3 tabs, an 'All messages' which is just like what we have now, a 'player messages' which only shows PMs, group chats and clan chats, so you can read the messages and take screenies of it without game messages like 'you encounter a mob' or things like that getting in the way, and then a 'game messages' tab that only shows messages from nod, not the players. It would prevent important chat messages from being pushed down so quick, and allow for easier tracking of your recent messages.

True, Sox... those hot zone lines do take so much space in the chat box. I support some answer here.

I know there isn't much room to work with.... but maybe between the three chests and the $. A 48 hour timer might there. Perhaps that tracking timer on the other? You can't be grouped will tasking so right where the little faces go for group? Although, that'd probably be annoying to code.. idk.

Yeah when you farm double-trophy stack zones, and you get that message to appear 10 times, and it just pushes your chat all the way down also....

Why not just make it add an X near the number of times it proc'd?

Double trophy stack! x 10 would save so much headache, or as sox suggested, a third chat window for game-related things happening, I.E. hot zones, bossbait message, etc, etc.

Full support of split chat windows, but let's improve by shrinking the local area box to the height of the friends/buddies box and have /c and /u go up there in the remaining space so you can see more than 5 lines at a time. Some chat sessions really do scroll too fast to keep up with easily, even with "small" chat icons.

Perhaps a better suggestion would be to make full use of widescreen and use floating chat/player boxes. Right now, Nod/forum takes up the center 1/3 of my monitor. I'd love to see it widen to 100% and maybe give us chat windows (and separate game message window) that stretch to fill the screen not taken up by the play areas. It should be a ton easier to do than when the game was first made with the advent of Bootstrap and FlexBox for HTML. Just assign each output window to its own floating div within specified areas.

I know I'm not the only one who would stretch clan/pm chat (left) and civ/unciv (right) to the full height of the screen to better keep up with everything going on.

How about an interface option to disable the hot/cold message and icons could be made and placed next to the arena icon.

Also in support of chat tabs.
