Looking for new LGS for P V E pls i been waiting for what feels like years...

Definitely a good idea for more build diversity in PvE. Please discuss which builds you think are lacking for use in PvE, preferably ones that aren't top of the pack already in PvP, and we can consider LG additions that will help them catch up.

How about an LG which does not actively affect combat? Maybe a pet called 'sly fox' avoids mobs by additional 10% when town walking? Maybe something only a heroic boss can drop, which gives 1% off all purchases made from shops around Nodiatis? Another idea, a LG gatherers pouch 'used to store all resourcing tools and crafting equipment for a fraction of the weight (maybe 1 rock each).

Or a LG aura which combines all the magic resist auras into one? Half the effect for PvP?

It does not have to be PvP related, or combat related. Hell even a crafting benefit, like the dragonsorrow shield

Im bad at calculation and sutch.. But for example we have blue dds that noone uses.. why not introduce them to be working for melee? also grey dds.. its sad to see so many different kind of dds but they are not worth of use cause they cant compete with the red DDs.. (could accually be for both pve and pvp to make these gems worth of use)

Paladin buff i think could be enough if more group based auras/weapons would be added, more different kind of builds simply

Fix whips (hellkok is simply too OP. ofc whips does damage but then they should accually be able to do enough for the loss of the big haste loss from hellkoks. already lost sharpen steel as an aura cause of pet haste)

Slashers, piercers and crushers i would like to see more differnt ones that works pve. maybe more weapons that has "if you have a slasher weapon in your other hand this weapon will...." we have one slasher and piercer combo (FUN!!) but would love to see more different kind.

Maybe more determinal auras that works pve? (dark night buff)

This is what i can think of now.. and i also has a suggestions to make arena reward be pvp lg and lg beast release pve lgs. (just a thought)

As someone who has done most builds to a high level, I think people just need to stop being dumb. Yes if you compare archer or melee or low teir bms to dbl dders or dbl doter, they farm slow. However if you compare bms, melee and archers, they are not a huge difference in kill speed. If you compare the t1 melee with ef gear against the t4 kok bms then sure.

Dont lisen to people like sox who dont venge farm, dont have teirs, dont have pve pets, proper pve armor and then whine that melee kills slow.

Yes non dbl cast builds farm slower then the other options. But you gain other benefits. If you only care about farming fast then reroll to the faster pve build.

PLEASE STOP listening to the idiots who keep saying things are bad. Nibbles saying paladin needs a buff... paladin is ONE OF THE BEST CLASS'S in the game.

I agree that having more lg weapons with more diverse procs would be nice just for the extra options to builds.

I am not good at math, and I understand most things are hard to implement without upsetting the pre-established balance, but here are some suggestions:

- I would love to see an ultra fast lg like the gleaming kris of light or grass sword, but an lg version. Low ultra fast consistent damage, perhaps with a rogue-like proc (increased evasion?).

- A 2handed spear that is great for 3 vs 3, perhaps with the introduction of zones where you fight 3 mobs at a time instead of 1 (the new zones maybe).

- A sigil that works like a shield but only when paired with staves? Not sure what kind of bonus (mre, mana regen or energy regen?), not something that makes everyone reroll to staffs, perhaps just with pve bonus for now.

- An offensive pve oriented shield, where whenever you get hit, you bash the mob dealing small amounts of damage.


- And yes, more combo options would be awesome. I will try to think of some more things!

Well the people want more diversity.. We have different melee options (crush, slash, pierce, bow) and different magic options. (death, life, psych) We have different colors.. white, green, blue, grey, black, red. We have 4 types of armor.. head, sleeve, legs, chest. Everyone wants diversity but also.. everyone wants to max everything... so a combo for magic and melee... thats where the diversity is needed.. can be in defense or offense.

haven't worked with maths yet, but i want to throw out a base form for now
Here some Legendary builds and my 5 cents in this topic:

first 3 sets can be used pvp also... i know its a pve topic but they can be used for pve also... and it are just some ideas... it will make everything more diverse and yes probably my examples would be OP.. but like i said.. it are examples and numbers can always be fixed or toyed with. These are just mechanics that aren't used in nodiatis and it would be great if some mechanics will make it. At this moment in time you get no bonus for a full set of the same armor.. my examples use full sets or something that is close to it.

LG Death set:
Helm: 5% chance to double cast with death magic gems only (+ 3% mana and energy regen with full armor set)
sleeves: 3% extra hitting chance + flat 5% bonus red gems only (+ 3% mana and energy regen with full armor set)
leggs: 5% extra critting chance + flat 5% bonus black gems only (+ 3% mana and energy regen with full armor set)
chest: flat 10% bonus for death magic only (+ 7% mana and energy regen with full armor set)
Staff: When you only have death magic gems in your pouch(or like 90%), you get +20% bonus for Death magic. Penalty: because death is running through you, you are cursed. Losing like 20% total hp) Becoming OP has to be a risk.. or like for every damage you do... you also hurt yourself for 5% of the damage.

LG Life set:
Helm: 5% bonus for healing gems (+ 3% mana and energy regen with full armor set)
sleeves: 3% extra hitting chance + flat 5% bonus white gems only (+ 3% mana and energy regen with full armor set)
leggs: 5% extra critting chance + flat 5% bonus green gems only (+ 3% mana and energy regen with full armor set)
chest: flat 10% bonus for life magic only (+ 7% mana and energy regen with full armor set)
Staff: When you only have life magic gems in your pouch(or like 90%), you get +20% bonus for life magic. Penalty: Because you have discovered the secrets of life you are no longer afraid to die. You lose 20% chance to block or dodge attacks. (you just don't see the point of dodging.)

LG mental(psych) set:
Helm: 5% bonus for damaging or damage neglecting auras/resistances (+ another 3% with full armor set)
sleeves: 3% extra hitting chance + 5% bonus to reflect magic gems back to the attacker (+ 5% drawhaste with full armor set)
leggs: 5% extra critting chance + 5% to blue magic gems(+ another 3% with full armor set)
chest: flat 10% bonus for psych magic only (+ 7% resistance to all magic with full armor set)
Staff: When most of your gems are psych magic/auras. You gain another 20% bonus for damaging or damage neglecting auras. Your prowes on mental stability and focus on auras and gems makes you lose pyshical strengt. You lose 20% STR or something like that.


==> ideas for other weapons
Crush: autoattacking with this weapon gives you a bonus % for damage/damage neglecting auras, combined with a whip your pet has a % chance to use a gem for free for every gem you play or gem that needs upkeep.
Pierce: autoattacking with this weapon gives the target a %chance to get a 5second aura that makes him get 5% more damage from all targets. Combined with a whip you get a 3% chance to get an aura that protects you from any threat (stuns, mez, daze)
Slash: autoattacking with this weapon gives you an extra ??? chance to multifire magic if you combine this weapon with a crusher you get an extra ??? chance that fits with your full set (death, life, psych or others) it has to be the full armor set
Whip: autoattacking with this weapon gives your pets mana and energy drains from the target. Combined with a slasher you get a % bonus max damage on gems
Bowset: ... like euhm ... ... ... euhm ... this can be anything... lol anyway...


===> you can mix alot in nodiatias because absurd amount classes/skills/builds and that would make everything diverse
- Give full sets a bonus
- Mix weapons with eachoter..
- Armor with reflecting chances

Different procs, more efficient ones in pve that aren't as useful in pvp or something would be nice... but that's about it
something like... 10% chance to deal double damage against mobs under 50% hp or something of that would help melee/bms/archers pve speed without adding a massive increase in their farm speed

Pallies have a bonus to bonuses. That 24% ends up being expressed as a 2% bonus from one aura, or a 1% bonus from another. It's not the best at anything but it is versatile because it can be equally mediocre at a variety of roles, and adaptability wins PvP (unless you're on the Pale train and think being 90 should win PvP).

Sharp steel goes from 8% to 9.92% with pally, a 1.78% increase.
Pallyhammer V goes from 24% to 29.76%, a 4.6% bonus.
Pet haste 20% to 24.8% is a 4% bonus.
FDA's haste is 50 to 62, an 8% bonus.

By comparison, BM's 24% bonus is a 24% bonus.

So even with all your auras in play, you won't be as good at anything as another class could be. If glitch thinks that's fine, then that's fine. Buff pally is a meme. Lobster's post was obviously a joke.


Back to the main point, some LGs that are good for PvE would be a nice change to the numerous LGs which are good for absolutely nothing.

And I've been saying for a long time that we need more interesting LGs, not just a boring proc with a big number.
