i like the acumen as it is and its true its not that hard to get into the acumen i almost got my char in last time when it was lvl 900 only you should be able to enter if you had hit sur lvl cap as they say though im not trying to enter to win yet just to get a little extra ash from it

Although I am all for bringing back the 3 bracket system. then do one right after the other you can only enter each char in one bracket.

Bracket 1: Main bracket D*Devs allowed whatever you can do to win... no cards
last 2 rounds double elmination agian and have a fight for true 3rd no reward for 4th
1st = couputer prize
2nd = 100 bucks
3rd = 50 bucks
total spent = 900 in game credit compared to the 1050 in game credit today
Same ash win/loss as currently in
Bracket 2:
Supers are allowed no D*Devs
1st 100 bucks (2 supers)
2nd 50 bucks
3rd 10k ash
(puts our total prize for acumen back to 1050)
2k ash per win 1k ash per loss
Bracket 3
Anyone no supers no D*Devs

1st prize 20k ash
2nd prize 10k ash
3rd prize 5k ash

1k ash per win 500 ash per loss

would be a several hour event but everyone would fit in somewhere and would give everyone a chance to fight for a prize they deserve instead of making the current acumen so deppendent on luck

if you win any bracket you are not eligible to compete in that bracket for 1 year and the bracket below you for 18 months

take alot to implement but would be fun

I am in favor of this. Since I only have enough supers for one character and that char is suited with D*Dev's, that means all my others are in the last group, giving me more ash. Actually I'd probably just slap a super on each of them and try to get the second round prizes while my main is suited in group one... interesting possibilities here.

Actaully IP ban would suck. That would make it so my roommate and I couldn't enter into acumen. Total suckiness that way and as far as how it is now is just fine.

The only problem I see with acumen is it's 12 chars month after month swapping suits. So that seemingly the same 12 chars are winning every 12 months by sharing the same suit.. Eliminate D*Dvs from acumen all together then we see who has the better duellers =). But where would Cole be without D*Dvs? probably sur bound.
But hell, I'm all for getting 12 buddies together, putting in $500 each and getting a cheap acumen win right off the bat too, then just working up until suddenly you have 12 chars that have won and you've made your money back.
