I gotta agree with Faith. Anybody immature enough to need to test the boundaries of the squelch systems deserves whatever happens. Be glad intentionally trying to get squelched isn't punished further.

beeing immature? nope. trying out the bounderies? nope. showing how the squelch system jsut doesn't work? yes. it can't remain like this. with this squelch system you can be squelched for a lot of stuff that is not immature at all. "what i wanted to hapPEN IS that..." jsut for example. and there are a lot more pretty common sentences to come if jeff/glitch takes more words into the squelch algorythm.

think about what people write before just telling me not to whine - which i nowhere did. this is no athmosphere in which a game can improve if these are the responses you get for stating an obvious bug that has to be fixed.

Respectfully Faith, I'm not certain that attempting to show there is a problem with a new piece of the game is being stupid.

Truthfully, if you had ben banned for saying something like:

You would be kicking a fuss, and I would say rightfully so. Just because these guys were testing the system, doesn't mean that there isn't a problem.

Should people be saying things like ***** and the like in civil? No, that is what the wonderful world of uncivil is for. But Jeff should be happy that the players in this game are so involved, and take such ownership.

i don't care about my punishment. yeah sure, i worte an excuse were in order. and i still think that i am not wrong with this. but i never told that the squelch was too much or anything. i knew/assumed that i would be squelched for this. but it ain't right. the squelch algorythm cannot stay like this if this gam is ever to leave beta. all i nwat is to fix this. and now that i explain it foranother time - tho it should ahve been clear in the first time, i won't do this again.

Let me put it straight,

People are getting squelched for some obscene chat and some uncivil words that they intentionally say in civil, then there is a wave of civil ridiculous people that try to test the system, then there is another wave of idiocy that try to put these words separated by commas, asterics, dashes and other stuff, then put them in sentences out of the blue that dont relate to any conversations and then there is you that did the same show in this circus of civil stupidy.

I can guarantee you, if you had a normal discussion about you using stationary utilities and their colours at work nothing would've happend.
