.GIF Avatars

Doesn't seem to be working, possibly something was changed with the current "No more messaging" change? I have used .GIF Avatars in the past without a problem, and the one I'm currently trying to use is less than the maximum allowed specs (128x128 PIX).

The current avatar used by Glitchless is a (15frame) .GIF and is working as usual.
This one:

is also a 15 frame .GIF but will not work, I uploaded from multiple sites (photo bucket, tinyic) and used multiple methods of activation, nothing is working like it use to.

Yeah this isn't very important to some people, but without the endless entertainment of making sigs/ava's for myself and friends, I don't think I can handle playing Nod anymore

Siggys are working fine, I made this one for a friend today and it works perfectly::

When I attempted to resize my current sig into an avatar size, the .gif wouldn't work and that was months ago.

Tai'laurana got his to work just fine though.

Normally it automatically resizes your GIF for you no matter how big it is, it would still take it down to 128x128, but even with that method I still cannot get it to work.

I never noticed that your ava wasn't working, until now.

So how come .GIF Avatars work sometimes, but not always. Glitchless? Can't really work on the problem if I don't know the cause.

The file is too big.

Well it seems that they have to be: smaller than 128x128 and smaller than 46.9kb which means that it is impossible to have a cool animated avatar.

Guess if we can't have cool avatars, we will have to make up with in cool sigs.

I just made another one.. 3rd today. Made a schweet water animation for Ghosttamer in "avatar and sig test thread" too.

jedimastercal: Why does your current sig show the One Ring from The Lord of the Rings? That doesn't seem like a very Jedi-like object for the head of the Jedi clan. Also, I found an error in the code in your signature which I've quoted below:

"♫♫" makes a single "M" just like "nn" would, you fail at telling someone they fail.

Wow! Nice post! Can you write a sentence without multiple swearwords?

I never said that I don't like your sig. I like the photo of the One Ring, but I think it is ironic that a "Jedi" is playing a fantasy RPG and using a sig based on LOTR. The only part of your sig that I don't like is the LEET speak part. To truly understand LEET speak, I would need to reduce both my age and IQ by half.

As for why my signature is written the way that it is:

1) I follow a simple philosophy -- I normally treat others the way that they treat me. If somebody is nice to me, I'll be nice to them; If somebody calls me a jackass, then I'll act like a jackass;

2) I'm sick and tired of seeing Ns (myself and others) and noobs treated like crap by paid players;

3) I teased Chrism in the thread linked in my signature, but the retards that responded thought that I was flaming Chrism, so they started calling me a jackass -- I wasn't a jackass then, but I'm going to be one now.
