Wow, that bug was so bad it knocked your post right out of the Nodiatis section and into the RWK forum! Kidding aside, it sounds like a problem on your computer with your browser or an interruption in your connection, not a bug in the game itself. And don't you just gain back an hour of rested time every day so it's not much of a loss anyway? Whatever the root cause, it doesn't seem like you were "cheated" out of much by the incident.
